Lotto Max, someone in Quebec scoops up an amazing CA$50 million.

Finally, after a long wait, the Lotto Max Jackpot has a winner. On Friday, November 12, a Quebec citizen was chosen as the winner of a prize estimated to be in the neighborhood of CA$50,000,000. For the lucky winner, the lottery has given them up to 52 weeks to claim for the massive prize money.

The jackpot winner’s identity is a mystery to the organization. Everyone in the province is being urged to double-check their lottery numbers. Another CA$12,000,000 jackpot is up for grabs today in a new drawing. To have a shot at the prize you still can purchase a ticket.

“It is possible to win millions of dollars with the Lotto Max lottery. It is even possible that the jackpot rises to a mere $70 million. Lotto Max tickets can be purchased both online and in-store, with drawings taking place twice a week.”

Lottery 6/49

Last week, a British Columbian won a large sum in the Lotto 6/49 draw. 19685243-05 was the winning lottery ticket number. The winner here, like in the Lotto Max, has 52 weeks to come forward and claim his or her CA$1 million prize.

This time around, the top reward of $5 million was not claimed, so it remains. For this jackpot, the winning numbers were: 05-06-07-18-25-37. Approximately $6 million will be up for grabs in the next drawing, which will take place on Wednesday, November 17.

Last week, another former lottery winner came up to say hello. It is Sandra Pilgrim-Stark, a Kanata, Ontario resident. She did, in fact, win a cool $1 million in the October 20 draw. The Real Canadian Superstore in Kanata is where she purchased her ticket. Why would you even go to a casino when it can be this easy?

In fact, Sandra wasn’t even the biggest winner in this drawing, as the jackpot was also won. Gary Muchala, a Vancouver resident, scooped up CA$10,200,000 in the lottery’s largest prize. The first thing he plans to do with his money is to attend the Super Bowl, a lifelong ambition.
